
Nina Macdonald received a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Michigan. She has designed web sites in the Irvine area since 1996.
For fifteen years before that, she was a Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs (now Lucent Technologies) where she designed user interfaces used in the dissemination of current scientific information.
Also while at Bell Labs, she helped invent the UNIX® Writer's Workbench™ programs, the first programs designed to give writers feedback about their writing style.
Nina founded Pixelloom in 1999. She currently serves on the Technology Committee of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce.
